Before this record was broken it was owned by the Stingers. He started off the Season 11-0 which is the best start to a season ever and probably will never be touched. Well now the most wins in a row is 12 set by the Snipers. What a coincidince He beat the Stingers who he shared the record of a 11 with. The Snipers look to try to add to this record every week and hopefully take down the best record in a season of 18 wins.

Spiders breaks the PIM record for a week
To break any record in our league is an accomplishment. It hardly happens anymore. Congratulations to the Spiders who set the new mark of 44 PIM. Eric Staal had about 90% of them minutes which is the oddest part of all. The previous record for PIMS was held by the Incredibles 2008-09 and it was 38 PIMS. Will this be the year that the Goals (22), Assists (29), and Points (45) get shattered. Only time will tell...

Spiders and Freeze make first trade of Season
Two uncommon trading partners struck a deal Wednesday afternoon. Nathan Horton and Ales Hemsky will be traveling to franzburg and hopes to join the team by next week. In Spider Country they received Mike Ribeiro, Ville Leino along with the Freeze's Waiver Pick. Seems like an even deal for now. But in a few months I can think differently.
Spiders Get: Mike Riberio, Ville Leino & Freeze's Waiver Pick
Freeze Get: Nathan Horton and Ales Hemsky

(ThunderCats) Markov out 4 Months
Montreal Canadiens defenceman Andrei Markov will be out four months with a torn tendon that he suffered on opening night. He isn't expected to return until after the Vancouver Olympics in February.
The veteran defenceman suffered the injury during a collision with goalie Carey Price in the third period of Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Markov had surgery on Thursday night following the game in Toronto to repair the laceration to his ankle.
"It's not a very nice feeling knowing that it was your skate that did it," Price said. "But then again, you know there's nothing you can really do about it."
Markov, a 30-year-old veteran, is Montreal's top defenceman and has quarterbacked an effective power play over the last few seasons. Last season, he had 12 goals and 52 assists and played in his second consecutive all-star game.
Fantasy Impact: This will hurt the ThunderCats because Markov is a top 6 offensive d-man in the NHL. He logged alot of minutes and gets a lot of Power Play Points. He had over 60 points last year. And was probably going to put up similar numbers. The Cats have signed Brent Seabrook to take his place on his current roster along with bench player Lubomir Visnovsky who is DTD.

FHL expands to Czech Republic
The FHL Franchise league has a new owner. He is taking over the Incredibles team. The new owner has changed the teams name to the Freeze. AKA Franzburg Freeze. He is the first out of country member of the league. The FHL Franchise has finally expanded globally. And now I can officially say we have an owner in the Czech Republic.
In a comment stated by team GM & Owner. "I like to get younger stars, try to move some veteran guys that have value. Sign some young players to replace guys not getting the job done anymore. I also hope to make playoffs, I like my goalies."
So far the Freeze have signed 2 players. And I can sense some other changes coming down the road.

FHL Waiver Draft News and Results
This is an update of what went on at the Waiver Draft toady at 1PM. The people that had picks that were available were all on except (ITSALLOVER) who had chat room loading difficulties while not in his regular war room. But anyhow, there was some early trade talk before the draft started and we kind of knew there would be at least one trade. But there wind up being 3 trades on Draft Day. A big superstar forward coming off injury was almost dealt for the 5th pick. That would of been the big trade of the day. But it fell through seconds before the time was running out to make a pick. All in all it was a good day. Most people got who they wanted. Some even are going to get to grab players they expected to go in the draft during free agency.
Most of these players picked will not make an immediate impact on their FHL team. There is a handful out of 16 that have that chance. But most of these guys will be stars in the next 2-4 years. That is if their owners can be patient enough with the players development. Majority of these picks will be on their FHL's Farm Team. Or they might even have trade value to other teams seeking young talent. The value of a prospect is in the eye of the beholder. Always remember that!
Trades in Order that they were made:
(Occured right after the 1st Pick)
Flyers Get: 4th Pick
Executioners Get: J. Johnson, Bryzgalov & 6th Pick
(Occured when Snipers were on clock with 13th Pick)
Snipers Get: N. Lidstrom
Stingers Get: 13th Pick
(Occured after the draft on a skipped pick)
Stingers Get: 15th Pick
ThunderCats Get: St. Louis

Iginla involved in BlockBuster Deal
"Iginla shown above with MVP and FHL CUP"
The face of the Snipers franchise, Jarome Iginla was finally traded. He was dealt to the other conference to the Incredibles. He was traded along with another fan favorite and fantasy beast Dan Boyle. One of the rare defenseman that score 20 goals in a season. Iginla has been on the Snipers for 4 seasons and Boyle for 3.5! They were on the the Cup teams and will be missed in the locker room. The Incredibles needed to do this trade as he was in need of a Superstar that can score. His team will now have some crediblity with a bonafide scorer and 90pt guy in Jarome Iginla, to support his other forwards like Perry, Boyes, Morrow, Doan, Ribiero, White.
Snipers owner talks on behalf of the trade. "It is very hard to trade one of your favorite players away who helped you win Cups. He was here since after the lockout in 2005. He was the team captain and leader. But I had to worry about the future. Alot of my players are 28 and over. And the GM's in this league are obsessed with age. I had to acquire them 3 draft picks to replenish my bench and Farm Team. I bsaically traded Iginla for 3 picks and Boyle for Weber. This deal can work out for me if I make the most out of my picks. Since they were on my team over 3 years they will be going in my teams Hall Of Fame one day!"
Snipers Get: Shea Weber, 5th, 9th & 11th PICKS
Incredibles Get: Iginla & Boyle

Assassins Hossa out 2 months of the season
Chicago Blackhawks winger Marian Hossa underwent surgery to repair a small tear to the rotator cuff in his right shoulder, the team announced Friday.
"Marian's surgery today went as well as we had hoped, and he is right on track for the anticipated recovery we had planned on, which is approximately four months," Dr. Michael Terry, the Blackhawks' team physician, said.
Hossa is expected to miss the first two months of the regular season.
The Blackhawks signed Hossa to a 12-year, $62.8 million on July 1. The team said it knew about the injury before signing Hossa, who led the Detroit Red Wings with 40 goals last season.

FHL Waiver Draft on Saturday September 26th
The date of our Waiver draft has been announced. I looked at the opening season games and made this decision. It will be Saturday on September the 26th @ 1PM. It will be held in a chat room service (Just like last year), where you will also have the ability to send someone a private chat without the rest of the people seeing. Be in the room 30 minutes earlier as people will be trying to get picks that don't have them. Or you might be able to trade a top player and land some draft picks with a young player. Looking to make a trade with a team you haven't yet. No matter what your intentions are there will be plenty of opportunities. There are some great names available for teams in this years draft.

ItsAllOver loses Jiri Hudler to the KHL
ItsAllOver has lost his first player to the KHL. RedWings Forward Jiri Hudler has decided to head overseas and get a bigger pay day. I thought not resigning Hossa was supposed to free up money for them to resign forwards.
Jay has decided to take the draft pick instead of keeping Hudler on his Inactive List\Farm Team. He will now has the 14th pick in the waiver draft. Along with the 10th pick which he traded for.

Tuesday @ 8PM: NHL Draft Lottery 2009
The New York Islanders have the best shot after finishing 30th during the regular season. They have a 25 per cent chance of being drawn by deputy commissioner Bill Daly.
League rules stipulate that a team can only move up four positions so Tampa (18.8 per cent), Colorado (14.2 per cent), Atlanta (10.7 per cent) and Los Angeles (8.1 per cent) are the only other squads with a chance to win the lottery. Teams can only drop one place lower than where they finished in the standings - meaning the Islanders will pick no lower than second. Tavares and Swedish defenceman Victor Hedman are the two most coveted players in the draft, which will be held at the Bell Centre in Montreal on June 26-27.

Sunday's Radio Show cancelled 4 Easter
Last week I did not have the proper setup for callers or pre screened calls. But this week is Easter and it is pointless in doing a show when people are going to be eating Easter Dinner. Our next show will be on April 19th, which was also be the last night to make trades for a few months. Our next show will be great as some of the stuff I had for the past weeks will be used plus more material being added in.

Stingers trade Wideman and Burns to ItsAllOver for Lecavalier!
Another trade was made Monday Night by the Stingers. Him and ItsAllOver talked back and forth. And before you know it another trade was made. ItsAllOver sured up his defense. Which was his one weakness. But getting rid of Lecavalier. He will need Berglund and Frolik to hit 30 Goals. And Nikita Filatov to make an impact. His D man are now: Wideman, Kronwall, Burns, Gilbert, Tytutin. And with that trade means the end of Carlo Colaiacovo's short time with the team. The Stingers now has boosted his offense even more. Now he will try to find a dman through draft, a trade or free agency. The Stingers are not done trading yet so stay tuned.

MalagaRoad Flyers wins FHL Fantasy Cup Again!
Congrats! The MalagaRoad Flyers became the first team in FHL History to win the CUP and have the 1st pick overall in the following waiver draft. The waiver draft was instituted in 2005-2006! The Flyers became the 2nd team to win back to back cups. The only other the team was the team he defeated the Snipers. The final was 6-3 but the goalie wins category was tied 2-2 with Bryzgalov only playing 1 out of 4 for the the Snipers. Save % could of flopped also if he goalied. They also tied in shots 90-90. It looked bad but it was actually close.
David Backes won the CLaude Lemieux Trophy(Best Fantasy Playoff Performer)!!!

Top 40 All Time GPG (Goals Per Game)
Check out the list I made for goal scoring fans out there. It is a GPG list. GPG (Goals Per Game) is easy to figure out. You divided the number of goals scored by the number of games played in during their career. I have not been able to find any list any where on the net for this. I decided to do hours of research and numbers and came up with the top 40 ALL Time in NHL history. Please check it out. Someone will try to steal my list and post it somewhere else eventually. But I know that I started it!
I talked about this topic on the Radio Show. The people that shocked me that their average was so high. Was Micheal Goulet, Cam Neely, Pat Lafontaine, Tim Kerr, Dino Ciccarelli, Lanny MacDonalad, Bernie Nicholls. Eric Lindros' first 9 1/2 seasons his goals per game was .59 which was .01 behind what gretzky averaged .60. Jeremy Roenick had a good average that dropped off due to injuries. And by the time his career was done he had a .39 GPG.
Example: A player scored 60 Goals in 160 games. It would come out to 0.375 Which if you round it out it would become .38!

FHL Fantasy Cup REMATCH!
For the first time ever since the beginning of our league in 95-96. The same exact teams from the previous season are facing each other once again in the most meaningful week of the entire Season for us fantasy owners out there. Fantasy Championship Week! The MalagaRoad Flyers have only 3 players on his roster from last season: E. Johnson (IR), J. Johnson & Loungo. That is an amazing accomplishment for a Franchise Owner. The Snipers will need a good goalie week from whatever 2 he plays out of his trio (Kip, Bryzgalov, Miller) as he will be going up against Fleury and Luongo which have been two of the hottest goalies the past month. The Snipers have a group of players that can put away any team when they play slightly above average or have a good week!

Rumors: A new team in the league?
There has been whispers around the GM meetings. That there might be a new manager in the FHL. There has been no proof to this rumor as of yet. But we are targeting inactive owners, to become a little more active. There is possibility of an original team (1995-96) retiring again? Guess we will get more info on this matter around the TRADE WEEK. Which will be the Week of April 13th thru the 19th which is one week after the The Championship. Any members not paid up in extra money will not be allowed to trade.

FHL Conference Finals!
The first week of the playoffs was insane. There was some tight match-ups that went down to the wire. You had to be part of it to know what it felt like them last few minutes as the scoreboard went back and forth as goals were coming in them last few minutes of the sharks\avs and ducks\coyotes game. Anyhow lets cut to the chase. Snipers will be playing Grumpy's BarMen in the Conference Finals. A rematch from 1997-1998 a long time in the making. This will be the third time ItsAllOver faces the MalagaRoad Flyers in the last 4 seasons to get to the championship.
1. Snipers vs 2. Grumpy's
2. ItsAllOver vs 4. Flyers

FHL 2008-09 Updated and Official Waiver Draft Order
This is the waiver order for the upcomming draft. It goes by based on record. And tie breakers when more then one team has the same record is conference record. So here is the updated and accurate list of waiver picks. Done after the end of the season standings were done. I made sure to look up all ties and place teams correctly. The Flyers had 6 picks and gave the Incredibles his 5th and 6th worst picks out of the 6. Which wound up being the Snipers (11th) and ItsAllOvers (9th) picks.
1. Flyers (From Spiders)

Incredibles mathematically eliminated from Playoffs!
I just did some research. The Incredibles has a 5-5 conference record. Both the MalagaRoad Flyers and ItsAllOver have a 6-4 conference record. So no matter what happens both of these teams have him beat out with the tie breakers if they both or one of them lose and Incredibles wins. Sorry I didn't look into this more before the week started. It still was one hell of a ride this year. The Incredibles will most likely have a top 4 overall pick in the waiver draft. Also has two picks that he received from the FLyers in a trade. SO I see no reason he should not be able to package players and picks to land a superstar player. His team has very solid forwards but none are superstars!

Best Fantasy Season Ever!
After much thought, this is without a doubt our best and most interesting season in Fantasy Hockey League in 14 years we have had it. From the 1st day on the waiver draft I knew it. Kovalhcuk was traded for 3 picks and that became the first ever trade during the Waiver Draft. Executioners started off 4-0 and is now tied for the worst record. The Snipers started off 0-4 and now has the best record in the east. Even the Slashers started off 0-5 and really turned his season around by acquiring Cammalleri. You had the spiders set a record with 9 consecutive losses in a row and another record most guys hurt and on IR at the same time and that was about 110, just kidding.
Surpisingly the Scrubs and Grumpy's two teams last year that missed the playoffs are both in the top 3 in the FHL. Evgeni Malkin got traded twice in the same week. First the Flyers traded him to the Slashers. Then slashers traded Malkin, Little for Crosby finally back on his team along with Richards and a pick. Which right now is #1 or 2 overall.
We had our first 3 way trade ever happen. It involved the Flyers, Slashsers and ItsAllover. And it inlcuded players like Boyes, Lecavalier, Malkin and draft picks. Other top stars traded this year. Parise, Savard, Frolov, Gaborik, Zetterberg, Kipprussof, Fleury, Turco, Miller, Phaneuf, Staal, Stastny, Backstrom, Green and Cammalleri. All big stars moved before our trade deadline. If you missed out on acquiring a big name. Shame, shame on you.
There is so many teams tied with the same record or a game out of a playoff spot. Almost everything is going to go down to the final week and most likely the final night on Sunday on Week 22. After this week the MalagaRoad Flyers have 2 games left. The Spiders and Executioners. He has the spiders pick and that pick is tied for being the 1st overall pick for Jonathan Tavares. The Slashers own the Executioners pick. If the spiders and executioners finished wit a tied record. The spiders would finish last because the executoners won the season series 2-0!
The icing on the cake of this great season is there was no fights this year. Which is another first for our league.

INJURY REPORT: Ryan Miller has high ankle sprain out indefintely
The Buffalo News reports Sabres coach Lindy Ruff had no further update Monday on the status of goalie Ryan Miller, who suffered a high-ankle sprain Saturday against the Rangers, and said the goalie remains out indefinitely. "There really is no more than that," Ruff said. "An ankle sprain takes time and you don't know how much time it's going to take." Miller has a boot on his left leg, but added it should only be on another day or two. "It's a little better," Miller said of the ankle, which was injured in a collision behind the net with Rangers center Scott Gomez. "Some of the swelling is down and it didn't have a lot to begin with so that's good. It's a little achy and it's one of those things you have to see how it reacts."
Fantasy Impact: This will hurt the Snipers as he went from last to 2nd in goalie wins and save percentage this season. His backup is Ilya Bryzgalov who has been performing poorly as of late. Snipers will need BRYZ to fill the void until Miller can come back hopefully before the playoffs. If not, better hope Bryzgalov can go back to form.

Top 5 Free Agent Finds : Fantasy Edition
With the signings done for the year, unless an emergency. It is time to do our top 5 Fantasy Free Agent Finds. This is for the guys that were picked up off free agency, that have done good or great. This list does not include any rookies.
1. Patrick Marleau (Grumpy's)- Yes he was a known player. But he also was given up on by the rest of the league. After a terrible 2007-2008 season. But he is now in the top 10 in Points and top 5 in Goals. He should of been picked in our waiver draft. But instead people went with a ton of rookies!
2. David Krejci (Stingers)- The stingers signed this relatively unknown forward at that time. He wound up developing into a dynamic player overall. Krejci has really broken out last year, similar to how Mike Richards did last year. To bad the Stingers didn't hang on to him. He packaged him in a deal as a Throw-In!
3. Mike Smith (LumberJacks)- With a rush to get goalies on the first day of signings. Matthiue Garon and Dan Ellis went before Smith. All the owners that passed up Smith for other bums must feel really bad right now. Only thing Smith does not get Wins cause the team he is on. But his GAA and SV% are extremely phenomenal for the team he is on!
4. Patrick Elias (Asssassins)- Signed to be a replacement for injury. Elias wind up rebounding his career and became one of the better players on the Assassins roster. Up until the Parise line split. Elias is now 7th in the NHL in points and has 23 goals. A fine find if you ask me.
5. Fedor Tyutin (ItsAllOver)- Since going to Colombus he has really turned into a good d man. He already has 8 goals and 26 points in 57 games and should get to the 40 mark. He was a great find as it hard to get D man who get Top Power Play time and can do something with it.

INJURY REPORT: Patrick Sharp (Knee) out 2-3 Weeks
Update: Sharp (left knee) will be out for at least two-to-three weeks and possibly more, Hawks’ coach Joel Quenneville told the Daily Herald on Monday.
Assassins break the +\- record with a Whopping 29
This past Week 18 the Assassins broke the +\- Record with a whopping 29. That was destroying the old record of 23 which was held by the Labatt Blues. Ironically he broke the record against the Spiders who have now lost 9 in a row. This Plus\Minus record will now be very hard to top. Good luck to the Assassins and anyone to beat it.

Mike Green breaks consecutive Goal record for D-MAN
Mike Green set an NHL record for defensemen by a scoring a goal in his eighth consecutive game and the Washington Capitals beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-1 on Saturday night.
Mike Green continued to show Ovechkin isn't the only star in Washington, setting an NHL record for defensemen by scoring a goal in his eighth consecutive game. Green made it 4-0 from the low slot during a power play at 5:33 of the second. He was mobbed by his teammates who left the bench. Boston's Mike O'Connell had a seven-game goal-scoring run in the 1983-84 season.
Green has 10 goals and 17 points over the last eight games, and is one game away from tying the overall Washington consecutive game goal streak set by Alan Haworth (1985-86) and matched by Mike Gartner (1986-87).

Will Jaromir Jagr be picked in our Waiver Draft?
With the talks going on, it seems like Jaromir Jagr has intentions of playing in the NHL again next season. They were saying that the Edmonton Oilers were trying to get him back for the rest of this year. He would look good on a top line with Hemsky and Gagner or Horcoff.
As for our Fantasy league. The Slashers had him last and received a draft pick when he retired\left. Now anyone can get him as the Slashers no longer have his rights. Will Jaromir Jagr be picked in the waiver draft. I think someone will take a shot on him in the 7 to 10th pick range. Only time will tell if Jagr has anything left in his tank for antother NHL season. And not just to be average, to be a star player still!

Game to Watch: Thornton's first game back in Boston Tuesday @7PM
When the Boston Bruins traded perennial All-Star center Joe Thornton to the San Jose Sharks during the 2005-06 season, both struggling clubs were looking to find a way out of last place in their divisions.
A little over three years later, their paths have again led to the same place -- the top of the NHL.
The conference leaders and Presidents' Trophy contenders meet for the only time in the regular season on Tuesday in Boston, where the Sharks will continue a five-game road trip and look to end their longest losing streak of the season.
The Bruins selected Thornton with the No. 1 overall pick in the 1997 draft, but they never found postseason success with the Canadian star and began a rebuilding process when they sent him to San Jose for Marco Sturm, Brad Stuart and Wayne Primeau on Nov. 30, 2005.
Thornton immediately helped turn around the Sharks, who had lost 10 straight before the trade but won their first six games afterward, reaching the 2006 playoffs as Thornton had 92 points in 58 games with the club to earn the Hart Trophy.
San Jose (36-7-7) has gotten even better since then, streaking to a 22-3-1 start this season under rookie coach Todd McLellan. The Sharks hold a two-point lead on defending Stanley Cup champion Detroit in the Western Conference with three games in hand on the Red Wings.
"We've been real consistent since day one," Thornton said. "We try to play hard each and every night, and we've got lots of talent."
It has taken Boston a bit longer to join the NHL's elite, but third-year general manager Peter Chiarelli and second-year coach Claude Julien have rebuilt the Bruins (39-8-7) into the top team in the East.
Sturm is the only player acquired in the Thornton trade who remains with Boston, and he's out for the season after knee surgery. But a bevy of emerging young players have helped the Bruins lead the league with a 2.15 goals-against average and rank second with 3.41 goals scored per game.
While the Bruins haven't won a title since 1972, the Sharks have never even advanced past the conference finals, adding intrigue to this possible Cup finals preview.
"Obviously we've still got a lot of hockey to work out here," said Thornton about meeting Boston in the finals. "If that were to be the case it would be great."
Still, both teams are coming off overtime losses on Saturday, and San Jose's 3-2 loss at Columbus to open a five-game trip was its third consecutive defeat. The Sharks hadn't lost three straight since a five-game slide from Feb. 12-20.
This is the Sharks' first visit to Boston since Jan. 10, 2006, when Thornton made his only trip to the Garden as an opponent and was ejected early in San Jose's 6-2 win for a hit from behind."There aren't too many ex-teammates over there, and it's just really an important game in the schedule," Thornton said this week.

INJURY REPORT: Tomas Vanek out 1 month (Fractured Jaw)
Vanek suffered the injury in Saturday's game against Ottawa when he was hit in the face with a puck. According to the Sabres, he had successful surgery on Sunday. Vanek, 25, is the Sabres' best player and is currently third in the NHL with 32 goals. He hasn't missed a game since April 2006, his rookie season.
He's developed into one of the game's best wingers, scoring 25, 43 and 36 goals over the previous three seasons, leading the team the past two seasons. Prior to his injury, he was on pace to shatter his previous career-high in goals.
Fantasy Impact: This will hurt the MalagaRoad Flyers in a very bad way. Vanek and Carter equal about %33 of the teams goals. With Vanek out, there is nobody on the Flyers bench that can come close to filling that void!

Spiders set all time FHL losing streak of 8 in a row
The spiders have set and FHL all time record. For having the most consecutive losses in a row. It will now be 8 weeks in a row that the Spiders has lost. He has had alot of injuries but that ain't no excuse for 8 in a row. He better hope Stastny comes back and Toews starts scoring.

INJURY REPORT: Mason on IR with MONO
While this does help explain his recent poor outings, it also makes what he’s accomplished this season (including Friday night’s shutout over the Senators, and a league-leading 1.98 GAA headed into Saturday) all the more impressive. “Our doctors feel he’s had it for a while and they feel he’s on the other side of the virus,” Howson said. “The worst of it is probably over.” The Blue Jackets will monitor Mason’s diet and energy level very carefully, and he’ll likely be a game-time decision every time the team suits up until he’s finally in the clear. Expect backup Wade Dubielewicz to get a lot of work in the short term.
Fantasy Impact: With DiPietro already out for the season, this is going to force ItsAllOvers hand. He is going to have to sign a goalie that might play one game this week. Or keep Mason in with the hope of him playing. I would hate to be in his shoes right now. His only healthy goalie is Chris Mason (No Relation to Steve).

INJURY REPORT: Lubomir Visnovsky on IR with dislocated shoulder
Grumpy's suffered a major blow the other night. Visnovsky suffered a dislocated shoulder in the third period of Tuesday's loss to Chicago. He might be out the remainder of the season if he needs surgery. An MRI has been performed to see how severe it is. No word yet. Luckily for Grumpy's he traded for Jovanovksi a few weeks ago. He will fill his void very nicely on the team. As for the Oilers look for Tom Gilbert to grab his time and spot on the top PP unit for right now.

How the West was on All Star Version!
The FHL west won a close all star match in a 6-5 week. Both teams were tied 29 goals each and also +21. The East lost out on alot of man games as 5 players were hurt and out during the week for them. It was still a good fun battle. Elias got a cheap empty net Short Handed Goal that gave them that category. Big weeks by Ovechkin with 7 goals and 1 assist and Niedermayer with 1 goal and 8 assists. Players that had great weeks in the East were Savard and Nabokov. Alot of players did not score for both teams which is shocking. Very low amount of Game Winners by both squads. Expect another close one next year. As some new players will make the roster and get their chance to shine. Ovechkin won his first FHL all star mvp. So far no USA or Canadian players have won this award!
2009 Alex Ovechkin
2008 Ilya Kovalchuk
2007 Marian Gaborik
